Brett Turcotte

Brett’s successful competitive career has led him to a point where he is excited to give back to the snowmobile community and teach all he has learned! His focus on the technical side of mountain sledding is his best kept secret! The man is a savage backcountry / tree rider! His humble and approachable personality lends itself perfectly to coaching so if you were on the fence about taking a clinic, it should be a no brainer to ride with this Canadian legend!

Sean McCaig

Our resident Saskatchewanite has been shredding pow in Golden for almost 15 years!! This guy probably knows every nook and cranny in our tenure, and can single handedly devour and entire zone to himself in one day like the Energizer Bunny. He is a great guide with safety in his mind at all times. His passion for riding is apparent from the moment you meet him and he truly is a great asset to our business.

Brad Barnes

Brad’s passion for the mountains is hard to beat! During the summer you can find him kayaking rivers, racking up kms on his mountain bike, or simply itching for the winter season to swing around again. For the past 10 years he has been exploring the Golden backcountry finding those hidden gems and leaving no patch of snow untouched. His mindset of “safety first” and a smile under his helmet at all times, he is truly a pleasure to be with in the mountains.

Colin Wallace

Colin has been sledding and snowboarding in the Kootenays for many years and is driven by the excitement of long days and exploring new areas. He keeps the vibes high but also makes getting home safe a priority.

Tim Grey

Tim is a veteran mountain man, who has been exploring around the Golden area for decades. He’s always on the hunt for his next photoshoot location and if you’re in to snowmobiling, chances are you’ve seen some of his photos or video used by the biggest brands in our sport. Tim loves the mountains and can name more peaks than most. He geeks out about watersheds, knows a lot about the land base and is exactly the kind of guy you want on your trip to make it safe and fun.

Jon “Simmy” Simpson

Jon has more days on snow per season than most people can dream of! His long history as a fishing guide gives him great group dynamic skills, and he can tell you some fine tales!

He has guided for Golden Snowmobile Rentals for many years and knows every secret spot. Along with guiding for GSR Jon teaches Avalanche Safety Courses with Hangfire Avalanche Training
